Happy Joe Selected for Patriot Boot Camp

Happy Joe Selected for Patriot Boot Camp NYC

I am proud to announce today that Happy Joe was selected for Patriot Boot Camp NYC on April 17-19, 2015! Patriot Boot Camp is a 501c3 non-profit organization that was organized under the startup accelerator Techstars to address the gaps in support that military members, veterans, and their spouses often encounter as technology entrepreneurs.

Here is the mission from Patriot Boot Camp as posted on their website:

The objective of PBC is to provide military members, Veterans, and spouses with access to mentors and training to help them innovate and build the next generation of high-growth, scaleable and impactful companies. Patriot Boot Camp leverages a nationwide network of business and startup community thought leaders to more effectively guide entrepreneurs in bridging the gap between military service and entrepreneurial life.

Happy Joe Selected for Patriot Boot Camp NYC

I applied to Patriot Boot Camp because I’ve heard great things about it from some veterans in my network. Three days of intense mentoring, guidance, networking, and the opportunity to pitch our business for a competition is exactly what I feel is necessary to get Happy Joe to the next level. With so many applicants, I wasn’t sure what my chances for getting accepted would be, but I am really excited to announce that my initial pitch was a success!

Happy Joe is packing our bags and heading to the Big Apple and I can’t wait. We are working on so many great things in order to help military veterans and their families. I’m honored to be a part of this event and know it will help Happy Joe to make our mission even more successful. HOOAH!
