Happy Joe Partners with Uvize to Help Veterans

Happy Joe Partners Uvize

Since our launch in 2014, Happy Joe has visited with hundreds of military veterans about the challenges they face after their military commitment is over and the best way to address these needs. We’ve had countless conversations with non-profit organizations, businesses, and individuals who want to help veterans but don’t know how to do it. We’ve talked with caregivers and family members about how they can’t get access to valuable resources. And we’ve heard from retired military veterans and disabled veterans about how the “system” doesn’t work.

What Happy Joe has discovered is that there’s a huge breakdown in the way information is communicated and shared to the military community. We’ve found out time and time again there is a critical need to build a bridge that can connect all of these points to one central hub. The resources for our veterans are out there, and even with the power of search engines like Google, the information system is so fragmented and broken that people who could receive life-saving help can’t find it.

Happy Joe and Uvize are Building That Critical Bridge Together!

Uvize is an incredible technology company that will give us the power to provide critical education, mentoring, resources, and advice to the military community. Their app will allow us to reach a significant amount of people globally while making our process easier and more efficient. We will be able to create personalized experiences for our community members based on their needs and interests. And it will be done from any desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.

I met Dave Cass, CEO and Cofounder of Uvize, at Patriot Boot Camp earlier this year. Dave is a former Navy officer and an adjunct professor at Leeds of School of Business (University of Colorado, Boulder). He’s deeply committed to veterans issues, mentoring, and driving progress in higher education through technology. I was really impressed by his passion and interest in mentoring, but I was equally impressed with what he and his team had created. Uvize is a platform that can change lives and I instantly saw how Happy Joe could use this technology to leverage what we do on a larger scale.

Uvize will allow us to achieve our mission objectives:

  • Connect military families with organizations and professionals who can help them quickly
  • Offer training, webinars, resources, and content that will positively impact their lives
  • Foster a community where people can share their experiences and help each other
  • Reduce unemployment, suicides, and homelessness by giving veterans a new mission
  • Build awareness of veteran struggles and challenges in an honest and open process
  • Encourage better communication and relationships between the military and civilians

Happy Joe will use the power of web technology and the expertise of thousands of people to build this critical bridge that will be life-changing. It’s not going to be cheap and it’s definitely not going to be easy, but the risk versus rewards is a no brainer! We believe this new technology and partnership with Uvize will make a tremendous impact for our veterans and their families.

We currently have over 200 people waiting for access to this membership community and a great group of mentors who are ready to go. Our goal is to become the most trusted brand and resource hub for the military community. They deserve straight and honest answers and we are going to give it to them.

Get involved with us and this opportunity!

Happy Joe will be launching our BETA community in two weeks to our registered list of people. We have been building a team of mentors and initial resources to start, but we are looking for people who would be willing to share their expertise and insights on the following topics:

  • Entrepreneurship and Business Start Ups
  • Web Technology
  • VA and Military Benefits

We are also seeking companies who would like to help Happy Joe underwrite the initial setup and ongoing maintenance costs for this incredible app. Your support and involvement will potentially help thousands of our military veterans and their families across the globe!
