When someone asked me recently what I'd like to achieve through Happy Joe, I didn't have to think very long or hard.
"I wanna be the largest drug dealer* to U.S. Military Veterans in the country."
Of course that title already belongs to the Veterans Administration since they provide harmful opioids by the truck loads every single day. So perhaps being the largest cannabis dealer to veterans will have to suffice.
Why provide free cannabis resources to veterans?
Despite the evidence and research showing how cannabis has helped veterans with service related injuries, the government has deemed marijuana as having no medical value. So it remains federally illegal.
Because of this archaic law, the VA cannot provide funding towards these healthier alternative medicines and resources are very limited.
Even CBD products made from hemp, which have been federally legal for years, is a NO GO for those who could benefit from it.
This requires military veterans to pay out of pocket for these resources. But since many cannot afford the costs with their disability payments, their choices are taking the cocktail of death allowed by the FDA and prescribed by the VA, or going without anything at all.
We wonder why the suicide rates were so high.
The government is full of shit.
While the government claims to be acting in the best interest of our veterans, most of us believe their refusal to change is largely due to the generous kick backs received from pharmaceutical companies and the greedy capitalism of politicians.
Don't believe me?
The United States government has been working on pharmaceutical grade cannabis for years and they hold many patents in the cannabis. If there is NO medical value to marijuana, why do they plug millions of dollars into these pursuits?
Then we have the politicians who rally around veterans at election time, making promises for change, but then quickly shoot down these bills once elected or securely in office.
It's all motivated by money. And when the government can finally find a way to capitalize on this drug, it will certainly be federally legal.
The men and women who put their lives on the line to defend our freedom and who took the oath to protect our country get shafted -- all the while many people in the political world profited from our Global War on Terror.
The HAPPY JOE Experiment.
I believe our service members and veterans deserve better.
Regardless of your stance on politics, cannabis, or war, we should fight for our veteran's rights to have free access to cannabis resources. In my opinion, this is the right thing to do.
Since the system is broken and people are suffering, HAPPY JOE has decided to use our platform to do what the government refuses to do.
My goal is to give away one million dollars worth of cannabis, medical cards, CBD, and cannabis resources by the end of 2025.
The way I intend to do this is by taking 100% of our net profits (after all expenses are paid) and use that money to purchase these life-saving resources for veterans in need.
It's definitely unconventional, and you might be questioning if I'm stoned outta my mind, but the mission is clear -- people over profits.
As a military veteran with a sincere and deep gratitude for my freedom, this is fight I must take on as an individual and company.
George S. Patton once said,
"Its better to fight for something than to live for nothing."
This is the driving force behind the mission of HAPPY JOE.
Be a hero. Support the mission.
We often tell veterans we're thankful for their service. We make them feel like a hero for the sacrifices they have made. But now it's your turn to be the hero in the story.
